The Gold Coast SUNS’ historic 26-point win over Fremantle at Domain Stadium left pundits around the country singing the praises of not only the team, but also particular individuals.
Key forward Tom Lynch was immense, kicking five goals to go with seven marks (four inside 50) to lead his side to victory.
Jack Martin’s performance up forward was equally as impressive with Herald Sun chief football writer, Mark Robinson, tweeting it was “the night he arrived”. The West Australia finished with four goals, two goal assists and 11 marks.
In the midfield, Aaron Hall has continued his terrific form with 32 disposals and 11 marks. Alex Sexton compiled 25 touches to go with eight inside 50s while Dion Prestia had 24 and kicked a goal.
Jarrod Harbrow also provided plenty of highlights across halfback with 21 disposals and seven rebound 50s. Sean Lemmens and Adam Saad also provided plenty of run with their leg speed helping break apart the Dockers on Saturday.
