The Gold Coast SUNS have made just one change to the side to play Port Adelaide at Metricon Stadium on Saturday with small forward Alik Magin named to make his first team appearance of the year.
Magin, a Queenslander, whom played three senior matches in 2011 returns to the senior team, replacing Luke Russell who will be rested.
Holding his place in the side following a solid hit out in Darwin last weekend, Rory Thompson will fill a key role at centre half back as he continues to cover for injured defender Nathan Bock.
Gary Ablett will start on the ball this weekend after spending significant time in the backline last weekend.
Ablett has looked particularly sharp at training this week and is looking forward to running out in front of a home crowd after traversing the country during the past two weeks.
