Three SUNS players have received coaches votes from the Round 4 match against North Melbourne at Arden St Oval.
Ruck Lauren Bella was voted the best Gold Coast player afield, with three votes for her 21 hitouts and 10 disposals.
Kalinda Howarth and Jade Pregelj both received one vote for their games, with Howarth recording 12 disposals and two goals and Pregelj lodging 12 disposals and four marks in defence.
For North, Jasmine Garner received top votes with 10 while Emma Kearney (eight), Ashleigh Riddell (four) and Ellie Gavalas (three) also featured.
The AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year is an award voted by the AFLW senior coaches on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each game, acknowledging outstanding effort to an individual player in a season.
