Two of the greatest footballers Australia has produced in any code – Gary Ablett Jr and Harry Kewell – headline the Gold Coast SUNS’ entry in the 2014 Virgin Australia Film Festival.

Two-time Brownlow medallist, Ablett, was joined by Kewell – a three-time Oceania Footballer of the Year, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League winner, who appeared 56 times for the Socceroos and played in two World Cups – for the shoot which involved a series of challenges at the GC SUNS’ training facility at Carrara.
The pair battles it out to find out if their talent stretches beyond the football field with the winner earning bragging rights until their next meeting. The video puts on show some of Ablett’s mecurial off-field talents, and also offers an insight in to the personality of the two sporting superstars.
GC SUNS fans can not only watch their skipper in action, but also assist the club in pushing for the competition’s first prize which is 30 business class flights to the United States, courtesy of Virgin Australia.
YouTube views will be added to the number of likes, comments and shares each club’s video receives on Facebook to determine the victor.

- ‘YouTube views’ (1 point each)
- ‘YouTube likes’ (3 points each)
- ‘YouTube Comments’ (5 points each)
- ‘Facebook Likes’ (3 points each)
- ‘Facebook comments’ (5 points each)
- ‘Facebook shares’ (10 points each however only direct shares from Virgin Australia’s channels will be counted).
