Gold Coast SUNS CEO Travis Auld says the Club’s three year partnership with new co-major partner, Fiat, is a strong show of support that would give the city’s AFL team great stability for years to come.

“To identify us as one of the sporting properties they want to partner with says a lot about our football Club,” Auld said.

“It says a lot about our playing group and the excitement around the Club to want to invest in Queensland.”

Fiat Director of Corporate Affairs – Karla Leach, was on hand to officially launch the long-term partnership between the two parties.

“It’s not just the launch of a sponsorship, but the launch of a journey together,” she said.

“A journey where we both want to succeed.”

With the unveiling coming just weeks after the Club announced a five-year partnership extension with foundation partner Virgin Australia, Auld said the Club’s off-field business support was shining bright.

“We have a really strong partnership portfolio with our corporate partners. The next step for us is our Membership and crowd build support, which takes time.”

“We took a few big steps in those areas this year and with positive on-field improvement, we’re hopeful of taking an even bigger step next year.”
