Gold Coast coach Rodney Eade says SUNS players are clear about the direction the club is heading, revealing that despite a difficult run with injuries, internally within the four walls of Metricon Stadium, the positive energy remains.
Queenslander Alex Sexton re-signed with the club two weeks ago and fellow young guns Adam Saad and Sean Lemmens have since followed suit with more still to come according to Eade.
The veteran mentor referenced the re-signings as evidence the playing group believes the team is on the right path and there is a plan in place for the SUNS to establish a winning culture.

“I think the players know where we’re headed and what the direction is, and we’ve certainly got a plan going forward,” Eade told United Coaches Chat on Thursday.
“I think most, if not all players, obviously can see that plan.
“On the back of Alex Sexton the week before, so we’ve got a few.
“There’s a few in the pipeline at the moment so hopefully people outside the club, and probably more Melbourne media ‘doom and gloom’ at times and have their own agenda, but we’re comfortable where we sit.
