Rise Up – as Gold Coasters, it’s what we do. It’s an indelible part of our character.

In the 60s the Gold Coast was a community of about 50,000 people spread across a handful of villages. Now it has “Risen Up” to being the fifth largest city in Australia.

And the GC 17 Bid and Gold Coast Football Club is no different. Whether it’s getting 42,000 locals to support the bid for the AFL licence, or raising $126 million to build a new stadium for the Gold Coast.

They said it couldn’t be done and against all odds the Gold Coast as a community has “risen up” to the challenges. This is the essence of the Gold Coast . It is also the essence of the Gold Coast Football Club – fearlessly rising up and overcoming all challenges.

Our commitment as a football club to the Gold Coast is to be bold, fresh, relentless and dependable and to always be part of this great community of fearless souls.

We will “Rise Up” to all the challenges before us and again we are asking for your support. As a sporting club we will owned by the community – by our members – a unique position in the Gold Coast sporting landscape. We are not privately owned, we don’t have private investors.

The dividend for our members is the club being able to build the very best playing list and the most exciting sporting club in Australia. To be the best we can we need 10,000 members to join us by July and help us continue this journey.

Rise Up is more than just a slogan. Rise Up is something everyone at the Gold Coast Football Club lives and breathes – fearlessly rising up and overcoming challenges.
