The Gold Coast SUNS have selected an Under 14 squad to representative the Academy in the AFL Academy series in Albury from September 24-27.
The SUNS Academy squad will compete against squads from the Brisbane Lions, Sydney Swans and Giants Academies.
This squad will consist of 25 players from the Level 1 (Under 14) group.
GC SUNS Talent Academy Manager, Andrew Johnston said the carnival expose players to the requirements of elite sportsmen.
The series has been designed to develop players on field in regards to the requirements of elite level football as well as developing players off field in terms of preparation, recovery, hydration and behavior.
Players will be encourage to develop friendships with players from other Academies in what will be a fantastic learning experience for all players.
Players chosen to represent the Gold Coast SUNS Academy have been selected from the GC SUNS Talent Zone, comprising of the Gold Coast, Northern New South Wales and North Queensland.
