The Gold Coast SUNS hosted two of the Ultimate Fighting Championship organisation’s most recognisable competitors, Kenny Florian and Ryan Bader at Carrara today.
GC SUNS stars Gary Ablett and Nathan Bock showed the international fighters just how tough Aussie Rules can be as they taught Florian and Bader a few things about our great game.
Florian and Bade also used the opportunity to show the GC SUNS stars a few of their own moves that unfortunately can’t be used on the ground during an AFL match.
GC SUNS Captain and keen UFC follower Gary Ablett told goldcaostfc.com.au that he hoped he could use some of the moves he learnt, but not on the footy field.
“Their tips will come in pretty handy, I don’t think I can use them on the ground, but if my brother Nathan gives me a hard time, look out!” Ablett joked.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation. Established in 1993 the UFC is the Premier League or National Football League of mixed martial arts and boasts the world’s élite and most experienced mixed martial arts athletes.
