Alongside her in the backline was Lauren Ahrens who was equally busy with 19 disposals and five marks.
The SUNS matched the Lions in the midfield, winning the contested possessions and the clearances.
That midfield was led by co-captain Hannah Dunn who accumulated 18 disposals and six clearances.
Alison Drennan also had 18 disposals while Kate Surman had 16 and a game-high eight tackles.
