One of the game's most lateral thinkers says Gold Coast will try things outside the box under new coach Rodney Eade in 2015.
SUNS coaching advisor Malcolm Blight, recognised as one of the AFL's most innovative minds, expects Eade to bring a different dimension to the club.
Eade has had just one week as Gold Coast's new coach, but Blight says he has already made an impact.
"It's miniscule, but he's made his mark in the way he'd like to play footy," Blight said.
"Firstly, I think you'll see a slightly different approach to the game, and secondly I think you'll see some outside-the-square thinking, he's that type of coach.
"Hopefully that can help us.
"He won't just go straight down the line I can assure you, he will have some stuff that goes a bit different to what other people think, which is great."
