The Gold Coast SUNS can confirm a number of list changes following the conclusion of the 2021 NAB AFLW season.
Jordann Hickey, Molly Ritson and Georgia Bevan have been informed they will not be offered a new contract for 2022.
Head of Women’s Football Fiona McLarty thanked all three players for their contribution to the SUNS.
“Jordann and Molly have played an important role as inaugural players of the AFLW team to help set up the foundations for a successful football program,” McLarty said.
“They’ve had an impact on the club and should be extremely proud of everything they’ve accomplished with the SUNS.
“Georgia received an opportunity as an injury-replacement player this season and was a valuable addition in tough circumstances as we looked to bolster our midfield.
“We are extremely grateful to all three girls for their commitment to the SUNS and wish them the best of luck for the future.”
Both Hickey and Ritson played nine games across their two seasons with the SUNS.
Bevan played three games for the club in 2021 after the long-term injury to Jacqui Yorston opened a position on the list.
The SUNS now have five list positions available after Sally Riley and Sam Virgo announced their retirements from AFLW.
