Gold Coast SUNS midfielder Mitch Hallahan has been placed on the club’s long term injury list after undergoing surgery on a fractured foot on Tuesday.
The former Hawk suffered the injury in the third quarter of the SUNS’ NEAFL practice match against the Brisbane Lions on Saturday with scans revealing a fracture in the fifth metatarsal.
No player has been nominated to be transferred from the Rookie List to the Primary List at this stage.
