The Gold Coast SUNS will wear the club’s AFLW Indigenous guernsey in the QClash this Thursday as part of celebrations for the upcoming Indigenous Round.
With the SUNS’ upcoming fixtures being rescheduled last week, it meant the club no longer had a home match in Indigenous Round, which is why the decision was made to wear the Indigenous guernsey this Thursday to celebrate the occasion at Metricon Stadium.
As part of the match-day activities there will also be an acknowledgement of country, and special guests and celebrations.
The Club will continue the celebration, acknowledgement, education and storytelling during the AFLW's official indigenous round in Round 8.
The match against Brisbane gets underway at 6:40pm AEST. Tickets are just $10, with free entry for patrons 17 and under. GC SUNS match-access AFLW members also receive free entry.
