There will be one SUNS AFLW player to be tested this week ahead of QClash at Metricon Stadium on Thursday night.
In positive news there were no new injuries to arise from Friday night’s victory over Geelong.
Kalinda Howarth missed Round 6 with a shoulder injury and will be tested again this week before a call is made on her availability.
“Kalinda still had some soreness in her shoulder this week so we made the call to hold her out from Friday’s game,” SUNS AFLW Physiotherapist Jasmine Herlihy told the Qscan Injury Update.
“She still has to get through training over the next couple of days before we give her the opportunity to test the shoulder again later in the week and push her case for selection.”
After injuring her ACL earlier in the season, key defender Jade Pregelj is expected to undergo surgery in the coming weeks.
