Danny Stanley will be available for senior selection after the Gold Coast SUNS named him as their nominated rookie for the 2016 season.
Under the AFL’s nominated rookie rule, a club can select a rookie player to feature in the home and away season and final series if it has less than 40 players on its senior list, not including veteran players.
Stanley, 27, has played 83 games and kicked 39 goals for the GC SUNS over five seasons after five games with Collingwood between 2007 and 2009.
