GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist, Lindsay Bull, has provided an update ahead of this week’s fixture against the Swans.

“Connor was subbed out of the game on Sunday afternoon, unable to continue after spraining his ankle in a contest during the third quarter,” Bull said.

“We’ll work with Connor throughout the week to give him every opportunity to play on Saturday.”

Wil Powell has recovered from a hamstring injury and is poised to return to the AFL side.

“Wil has been diligent in his approach throughout the rehab process, and he’ll aim to train fully at the main session and providing he does that, he’ll be available for selection.”

Meanwhile, forward Josh Corbett is set to miss another week after succumbing to a hip complaint.

“Josh won’t be available to play this week however we anticipate he’ll recover from his hip injury within the next few weeks.”
