Gold Coast SUNS midfielder Noah Anderson has capped off an outstanding season with a Runner-Up finish in the 2022 SUNS Club Champion.
Anderson finished the vote count on 504 votes behind eventual winner Touk Miller (566) and ahead of third-placed David Swallow (479).
Sitting in seventh position after 15 rounds, Anderson came home with a flourish, polling 212 votes in the final eight games.
His best polling performance was deservedly the thrilling Round 17 victory over Richmond at Metricon Stadium, where the third-year midfielder polled 36 out of a possible 40 votes after an epic goal after the siren to win the game.
Anderson had a career-best season in 2022, averaging 26 disposals and six clearances per game.
Taking on a heavy midfield load, Anderson was a reliable competitor who continued his rapid improvement at AFL level.
On top of his Runner-Up finish, the 21-year-old also claimed the Best Emerging Player award at the 2022 SUNS Club Champion event.
