The Gold Coast SUNS have selected North Hobart teenagers, Henry Schade with selection 24 in the 2011 AFL draft.

The 196cm defender joins local access players Alex Sexton and Jackson Allen as new recruits along with teenage sensation Jaeger O'Meara.

The GC SUNS rounded out the night elevating Alik Magin from the rookie list to the senior list.

Schade, a Tasmanian full-back is an impressive size and his courageous play with the North Hobart Demons has won him plenty of admirers.

His willingness to attack the ball carrier saw him knocked out in the dying seconds of a game the Demons had well in their keeping late in the season.

The GC SUNS have a key defender to groom for the future.
