The Gold Coast SUNS have named a 26-man team to take on GWS in a practice match tomorrow at Blacktown International Sportspark.
The headline inclusion is key forward Ben King being named for his first official match since his knee reconstruction last year.
King has been named at full forward and is ready to make his return in a dynamic forward line which also includes Mabior Chol, Jack Lukosius, Ben Ainsworth, Nick Holman and Joel Jeffrey.
Sam Collins returns to the backline after being rested for the match simulation against Essendon and will join Ben Long, Charlie Constable, Charlie Ballard and Caleb Graham in defence.
The midfield mix consists of Jarrod Witts, Noah Anderson, Matt Rowell and David Swallow, with Elijah Hollands and Sam Flanders named on the wings.
On the extended interchange is Tom Berry, Levi Casboult, Brayden Fiorini, Alex Davies, Darcy Macpherson, Ned Moyle, Alex Sexton and Bodhi Uwland.
First-year player Bailey Humphrey has sustained a cut to his foot which will see him miss this weekend’s action.
The club will also play a VFL practice match at 9am AEST at Blacktown which will consist of 4x 25-minute quarters.
First bounce for the AFL practice match is at 11:10am AEST and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
