For the second consecutive week, the undefeated SUNS VFL side has had seven players catch the eye of the two coaches and earn Coaches MVP Award votes.
Dominant in different aspects, Chris Burgess (5 goals, 20 disposals) and Connor Blakely (35 disposals, 12 clearances) shared best-on honours, earning a total of six and seven votes respectively.
James Tsitas was didn’t missed an opportunity in front of goal, kicking five goals straight and winning plenty of the ball as well to earn four votes.
In both players’ first VFL match in a number of weeks, Sam Flanders and Ned Moyle were among the SUNS best. Flanders took three votes with an eye-catching 30-disposal display, as did Moyle who formed a strong partnership with Burgess in the ruck.
Charlie Constable also finished with 32 touches and a major, earning him two votes while Mac Andrew earned a vote for his patrolling work in defence.
