The Gold Coast SUNS have today unveiled a brand new kids playground which will become a permanent fixture at Heritage Bank Stadium.
The playground, which features a slippery slide, climbing frame, net bridge and more, is SUNS branded with Sunny Ray and Skye.
Located just inside Gate 1, the playground will be operational for all Gold Coast SUNS home games at Heritage Bank Stadium, along with other future events at the venue.
Gold Coast SUNS General Manager – Stadium, Tim Carey, said the playground was the first of its kind to feature permanently inside an Australian stadium’s gates.
“At the Gold Coast SUNS, we are always looking at ways we can make Heritage Bank Stadium the most engaging venue in the country for our fans,” Carey said.
“We get a large number of families through the gates for all of our events, so it’s fantastic to be able to have this playground offering to enhance the fan experience at Heritage Bank Stadium.
“The playground will be open for business for this weekend’s match against Hawthorn, and it’s a perfect opportunity to bring the family along with our ‘Kids go Free’ promotion.”
Kids can attend for free with select adult reserved seat ticket purchased via Ticketek across the next three home games (excluding hospitality products).
