Cameron Joyce has made one change to his team for the Gold Coast SUNS’ first Elimination Final on home soil on Saturday night.
After missing the Round 10 win in Mackay following concussion protocols, Tasmanian defender Elise Barwick has been named to return against the Swans. Barwick comes into the side in place of Jasmyn Smith.
Saturday night marks the SUNS return to AFLW Finals for the first time since 2020 with the match also set to be Lauren Bella’s 50th AFLW match.
She’s one of three players in the side who played in the club’s previous final alongside Jamie Stanton and Lauren Ahrens.
The two teams have only met once previously with the SUNS earning a 34-point victory last season.
Gates open at 5.15pm ahead of a 6.15pm first bounce at Heritage Bank Stadium. Tickets are available via Ticketek - $10 for adults and concessions while juniors (under 18) can attend for free.
