The Gold Coast SUNS have informed Tahlia Meyer, Kaylee Kimber and Claire Ransom that they will not be offered contracts for the 2024 AFLW season.
Meyer joined the SUNS from St Kilda ahead of Season Seven and played 11 games across two seasons, including the historic home Elimination Final at Heritage Bank Stadium in November.
Kimber, a SUNS Academy graduate from the Mackay region, played three games in Season Seven before being placed on the inactive list for 2023 due to a stress fracture in her foot.
Tasmanian product Ransom played two games for the club during Season Seven after debuting in her home state in the opening round of that season.
“Tahlia, Kaylee and Claire will always be Gold Coast SUNS players having all earned their opportunities to represent the club in the AFLW,” GC SUNS Head of Women’s Football Fiona Sessarago said.
“All three have been valued members of our program across the last two seasons with Kaylee also joining the growing list of players to represent our club from the Mackay region.
“We would like to thank all three players for their contributions and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
