To mark International Women’s Day 2018 the Gold Coast SUNS have announced the winners of their mascot design competition.

Inspiration will be taken from elements in each of the 10 winner's designs in creating the final mascot, which will be revealed when the SUNS return to Metricon Stadium for Round 11 on June 2. 

Close to 250 people submitted entries to design the female mascot over the past month and four of the final winners are currently part of the SUNS’ Female Academy. 

The winners have been awarded a SUNS AFLW Foundation membership along with a double pass to attend the Round 11 match.

Finally, the group will be the first to meet the new mascot in an exclusive preview prior to the match.
