The Gold Coast SUNS’ NEAFL team travel south to take on the Canberra Demons this Sunday afternoon.
The SUNS are coming off a bye and will have 13 listed players line up for the game.
A number of players have been called up to the senior team, headlined by Darcy Macpherson, who was elevated to the senior list after consistently strong performance at NEAFL level this season.
Veteran midfielder Michael Rischitelli continues his journey to full match fitness after playing half a game against the Brisbane Lions reserves a fortnight ago.
One player to look out for is SUNS Academy player Kwaby Boakye, who has been named at half back.
He plays his second NEAFL game this season and has been named in the Under-18 Allies squad.
Both teams currently hold a 4-6 record, with the SUNS sitting higher on the ladder due to percentage and will be looking to stay in touch with the top six.
The match will be played at 12pm at UNSW Canberra Oval.
