The SUNS are fresh off the bye and will have three SUNS Academy debutants as confirmed on Wednesday.
Ethan Read, Will Graham and Sam Clohesy will all play their first AFL matches, while Captain Jarrod Witts also returns to the line-up after missing the Round 2 match with a groin injury, replacing young ruckman Ned Moyle.
Versatile defender Mac Andrew has also been named for his first AFL game of 2024 while Malcolm Rosas Jnr also returns to the side following a one-week suspension.
Named on the extended interchange alongside Graham and Read are Rory Atkins, Sam Flanders, Sam Day, Jack Lukosius, Bailey Humphrey and Darcy Macpherson.
Brandon Ellis, Levi Casboult, Alex Sexton, Connor Budarick and Ben Long have been omitted from the Round 2 side.
The SUNS will name its final 23 at 4pm AEST on Friday, with the substitute to be announced 60 minutes prior to first bounce.
The fixture against the Giants will be played at Adelaide Hills, Mt Barker on Sunday at 12:30pm AEST.
