Ben Long has retained his place in the team and will be joined by Darwin SUNS Academy products Joel Jeffrey and Lloyd Johnston in the Round 9 team.

It will be both Jeffrey and Johnston’s first AFL matches for 2024.

The duo are among six changes for this weekend’s Darwin clash.

Also coming back into the line-up after being managed last week is Bailey Humphrey, while Alex Sexton has earned a recall after consistent VFL form.

SUNS Academy duo Bodhi Uwland and Alex Davies are the remaining two inclusions and are two of seven total Academy products in the team.

Coming out of the side are Wil Powell (suspension), Brayden Fiorini (managed), David Swallow (managed), Ethan Read (omitted), Will Graham (omitted) and Rory Atkins (omitted).

On the emergency list for the match are Fiorini, Swallow and Sam Day.

The substitute will be announced 60 minutes prior to first bounce at 7:30pm.

The match will be broadcast live on Kayo, Fox Footy and the Seven network (check your local guide).

For Gold Coast-based members and fans, there is a live viewing of the match at Dreamworld Night Markets, with free entry to those who wear their Gold Coast SUNS colours.
