Touk Miller led the SUNS with an equal team-high with 29 disposals in a vintage performance from the captain, matched by Sam Flanders whose efforts were relentless throughout the night.
On his return to the senior squad, Academy product Bodhi Uwland was immense. Alongside Mac Andrew and Sam Collins, the SUNS defence stood tall, with the latter keeping Roos full forward Nick Larkey to just the one goal.
Ben King and Jed Walter kicked five goals between them, with both players kicking two each in a runaway second half for the SUNS.
Sam Clohesy’s debut season continues to go from strength to strength. The former Palmerston Magpies defender kicked two silky goals to finish with 23 touches.
