Fan favourite Lachie Weller will make his long-awaited return to football this weekend, set to play his first game since a knee reconstruction in July last year.

Saturday’s match will mark 378 days since Weller last took to the field in Round 17, 2023.

Also named as inclusions to the Round 19 team are Alex Sexton and David Swallow.

As previously confirmed this week, Alex Davies (suspension), Malcolm Rosas Jnr (suspension) and Ben Ainsworth (injured) have come out of last weekend’s victorious team over Port Adelaide.

Named on the emergency list is Rory Atkins, Brayden Fiorini and Tom Berry.

The match against GWS gets underway at 1:45pm, with the substitute to be announced one hour prior to first bounce.

The match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy, Kayo and the Seven Network (check your local guide).
