The Gold Coast SUNS has named its team to face GWS in the VFL match at Blacktown on Saturday morning.
The SUNS will have 12 AFL-listed players for the match, with Alex Sexton (AFL) and Will Rowlands (suspension) coming out of last week’s team.
Fresh off earning Under 18 All Australian honours, StreetSmarts SUNS Academy member Zeke Uwland will return to the side and is joined by Nick Francis as inclusions to the team.
Last week’s debutants and Academy members Koby Coulson and Caleb Nancarrow will retain their place in the side, as will Ben Moyle - brother of SUNS AFL ruckman Ned.
The SUNS currently sit in ninth place on the VFL ladder - but with a healthy percentage and a game in hand over teams above them, a win against the 14th-placed Giants could lift the team as high as seventh.
First bounce for the match against GWS is at 9:35am at Blacktown International Sports Park.
The match will be streamed live and free via the AFL app.
