Mac Andrew has been voted into the 2024 AFL Player’s Association final 22Under22 team.
Either at forward or back, Andrew has had a breakout season this year in the AFL, collecting 14.6 disposals and 6.1 marks per game, from his 19 games this year.
Since moving to key forward in Round 21, Andrew has kicked seven goals over the last three rounds proving his versatility to be successful at either end of the ground.
In Round 22, Andrew delivered a standout performance, securing five marks, 13 disposals and four goals, which included an after the siren kick that solidified the win.
Andrew received 90% of the fans’ votes, to be the second-highest voted player in this year’s team behind Harry Sheezel.
It is Andrew’s first appearance in the AFLPA 22Under22 team at just 20 years of age.
Mac Andrew joins fellow SUNS Noah Anderson, Jack Lukosius, Ben King and Wil Powell in earning selection in the 22Under22 team in recent years.
