The Gold Coast SUNS have regained key defender Katie Lynch and versatile small Elise Barwick for Sunday’s AFLW Week 6 meeting with Essendon at People First Stadium.
Barwick returns after missing Wednesday night’s match after undergoing surgery on a broken nose while Lynch has been managed for the SUNS’ last two games.
The duo return in place of Wallis Randell (hamstring) and Ella Smith (omitted).
Smith is one of three emergencies alongside Kiara Bischa and Cara McCrossan.
Sunday’s match is just the second meeting between the SUNS and Bombers with Gold Coast winning the first by 14 points in Mackay last season.
