With no injuries from the match against Sydney, the Gold Coast match committee will ponder rewarding NEAFL form for the match against Richmond this Saturday at Metricon Stadium.

The NEAFL side had an outstanding win over the Sydney Swans Reserves on the weekend, with a number of SUNS stamping their claims for a senior recall.

Josh Corbett was a match-winner, finishing with six goals from 18 disposals and a game-high 13 marks he collected in the forward-line.

He was supported ably by George Horlin-Smith in the midfield who responded to his AFL omission with 29 disposals in an influential game. 

Speedster Jacob Heron had 27 disposals playing both on-ball and in defence, while Jacob Dawson continues to go about his work, accumulating 26 disposals in the win.

Returning from injury was Aaron Young (25 disposals, 8 marks), Jordan Murdoch (22 disposals, 8 marks) and Izak Rankine (10 disposals, 1 goal).

Promising draftee Jez McLennan also looked good for his 15 disposals in defence.
