Gold Coast local Max Spencer has been upgraded to the Gold Coast SUNS' senior list.
The SUNS Academy product replaces defender Kade Kolodjashnij, who has been placed on the long-term injury list due to ongoing concussion symptoms.
The 20-year-old has played 15 games for the SUNS' NEAFL team in 2017, averaging 17.4 disposals and being named in the team's best on multiple occassions.
Spencer joined the SUNS as a Category B rookie, becoming the third GC Academy player drafted by the club during the 2016 draft period.
He is the sixth success story of the GC Academy's recruitment program.
The official paperwork was lodged with the AFL on Thursday.
