Lachie Weller is this week’s Player of the Round, presented by Ultra Stainless Security.

Weller started as an inside midfielder for the first time in a new role and impressed with his speed out of stoppages.

The 23-year-old finished the night with 20 disposals at an efficiency of 70% and a game-high 11 tackles.

Weller also covered the ground exceptionally well, with his GPS reading 14.8km travelled for the game and also 429 metres gained with ball in hand. 

He provided a spark with his run through the middle of the ground and was responsible for two score launches on the night.
