The Gold Coast SUNS Reserves fell to Sydney University by 13-points in the round 11 NEAFL clash at Henson Park.

Despite a six goal to two final quarter performance, the SUNS couldn’t quite claw back to a victory, after being almost 40 points down earlier in the term to end the game 16.16.112 to 15.9.99.

Clay Cameron and Jarrod Garlett kicked two a piece for visitors, supported by another two from Academy product Maxy Spencer- fresh off his duties with the U18 Queensland State Squad.

Aaron Hall collected 30 disposals for the match despite a quiet second quarter to go with eight tackles, nine clearances and a goal in a performance that will impress the SUNS match committee.

Two weeks into his return from injury Mitch Hallahan put in yet another solid performance, adding 26 disposals and 10 clearances to his goal.

On equal disposals and once again putting his case forward for senior selection was draftee Mackenzie Willis.
