Five Gold Coast players have polled votes from Senior Coach Stuart Dew and his counterpart Luke Beveridge after Sunday’s game at Marvel Stadium.
Jack Martin was rated the SUNS’ best with six votes after his 23 disposal game.
Splitting his time between midfield and the forward line, Martin had a massive influence on the game including ten score involvements.
Joining him in the votes were Lachie Weller and Jack Bowes (four votes each).
Playing at half-back, Weller racked up 26 touches and had 627 metres gained to play a big part in rebounding the ball from defensive 50.
Bowes went head-to-head Bulldog Marcus Bontempelli for part of the contest and held his own as he accumulated 25 disposals (13 contested) and six tackles.
However, it was Bontempelli who came away with the ten votes from the coaches.
Brayden Fiorini (two votes) and Jarrod Witts (two votes) were the other SUNS to receive votes.
