The Gold Coast SUNS have opted to go into the Round 4 AFLW match against North Melbourne with an unchanged side.
It will be the same team that fought with the undefeated Brisbane Lions to record a draw in the first ever AFLW QClash at Metricon Stadium last weekend.
Captain Leah Kaslar has recovered fully from a head knock sustained late in the match and has been named to start the game in the centre circle.
AFLW Senior Coach David Lake told SUNS Media the match would be a good opportunity for the team to prove they belong at the highest level.
“We look forward to the challenge of having to play North Melbourne,” Lake said on the AFLW Coaches Chat presented by Kool Kids Training College.
“If they are the level as people talk about, we need to learn to play at that so we go further into the uncomfortable where all our learnings seem to get done.
“We won’t be shying away from the challenge because in our first year we’ve shown that we can find the level, we’ve just got to be able to maintain it and deliver on it for an extended period.”
The match will kick off at 5:10pm in Melbourne on Saturday (4:10pm AEST).
Members and fans who are unable to get to the AFLW game can watch it LIVE on Fox Footy, Kayo or 7Mate from 4pm AEST (check your local guides).
All matches are also streamed LIVE via womens.afl and the AFLW Official App.
