The AFL today announced that the NAB AFL Women’s and Toyota AFL Premiership season will continue, however, no fans will be permitted to attend matches for the foreseeable future following advice from health experts to cancel gatherings of more than 500 people.
While this is less than ideal, we understand the reasons for this decision and we place the highest priority on the health of our supporters, players and staff.
We also understand some people will have questions regarding their 2020 memberships and the implications around today’s announcement.
We are working through a unique and ever-evolving situation and ask for your patience and understanding during this time.
All fans who purchased public tickets to our Round 1 game against Port Adelaide are eligible for a refund and will be contacted directly by Ticketek. Information for all other ticket holders, including corporate hospitality clients will be announced once more details about the 2020 season are known.
We promise to provide regular updates and encourage our members fans to watch our AFLW and AFL matches on the Seven Network, Foxtel, the AFL App with thanks to Telstra, and though radio broadcast partners.
