Captain Gary Ablett is confident success is just around the corner for the Gold Coast SUNS, however in a frank interview with SUNS TV, the skipper says a winning culture will only be achieved once his SUNS teammates learn to play their role and back their own ability on match day.

Ablett said the young SUNS players had excelled on field in the absence of several key players recently, however had failed to fire once they returned to the side.

With greater effort shown last week against the Bulldogs in Darwin, Ablett says the SUNS are confident they can repeat their historic first win against Port Adelaide when the two sides meet at Metricon Stadium this Saturday.
