As the 2010 AFL season approaches, Gold Coast Football Club players will visit local clubs on Saturday to help with sign on day and promote AFL on the Gold Coast.

For the first time ever – the squad will be at Junior clubs sign on day from 10am-11am to meet young players, sign autographs and give away posters.

Community Programs Officer Corey Bell said engaging with the community and supporting junior AFL on the Gold Coast is a focal point for the club.

“It’s exciting for our players to be able to get out amongst the football community and encourage young players to participate in AFL.”

Players aged 7-18 can sign on for Club Football and players aged 5-12 can sign on for the popular Auskick program which introduces both boys and girls to AFL.
