The Gold Coast SUNS have launched an innovative new partnership with global sportswear giant New Balance.
The exciting partnership will see New Balance join the club as it’s official On-Field Apparel Partner for the next three years, supplying high performance apparel for the AFL Coaching and Playing group as well as the club’s retail range for its members and supporters.
Gold Cost SUNS Chief Executive, Mark Evans said he was excited to join forces with such an iconic international brand.
“It’s an exciting time to be involved with the SUNS and we’re thrilled to have New Balance come on board and experience the journey with us,” said Evans.
New Balance aims to aid athletes in their pursuits, whether that means helping professional athletes set records and win medals, or propelling everyday athletes to achieve a new PB, run their first 5K or just to live a more healthy and active lifestyle.
“Working with the team at New Balance we know they will be able to provide high quality performance apparel both on and off the field for our AFL players and coaches,” Evans said.
“Just as importantly, we know our members make our club who we are and it’s great that as part of this partnership we’re able to provide not only top quality supporter apparel but some great benefits with New Balance.”
New Balance General Manager Australia and New Zealand, Dean Howard, said the partnership provided an opportunity to connect with more fans.

As part of the partnership, New Balance have committed to providing SUNS Members with access to their range of function and fashion products, giving you the performance technology you need and the style you want. More information will be provided to members later this month.
Gold Coast SUNS Players, Coaches and Staff will begin to wear the New Balance on field and off field apparel when the 1-4 year players return to training for the first time ahead of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season on December 7th.
