The Gold Coast SUNS have made one change to the team to face Essendon on Sunday afternoon.
After playing as the medical substitute last week, Jack Bowes has been promoted back into the 22 in place of the injured Brandon Ellis.
Emergencies for the match will be Rory Atkins, Will Brodie, Alex Davies and Sam Flanders, with one of those four to be confirmed as this week’s medical substitute prior to the bounce.
Round 22 forms part of the SUNS Festival of Members, with 21 lucky members confirmed to have been selected in the SUNS Member Team of the Year, presented by Hostplus.
The 2021 Member Team of the Year features a selection of the most dedicated and passionate SUNS members.
Each member has been paired with a player for this weekend’s Round 22 fixture against Essendon with the unique opportunity for each member to have their name embroidered on their player’s guernsey.
SUNS captain David Swallow will play with the word “You” on his back, representing each of our record-breaking 19,460 members who have committed their support to the club this year.
The match will be played at GMHBA Stadium and gets underway at 3:20pm on Sunday.
It will be broadcast live on the Seven Network (check your local guide), Fox Footy and Kayo.
