The Gold Coast SUNS have made four changes to its team ahead of Sunday’s AFLW Round 2 clash against West Coast at Metricon Stadium.
575 days since her second AFLW appearance, Annise Bradfield will run out for her third outing in SUNS colours after missing the majority of the previous two campaigns recovering from an ACL injury.
As reported earlier today, SUNS Academy product Giselle Davies will make her AFLW debut while off-season recruit Courtney Jones will also make her first appearance in her new colours after missing Round One with a knee injury.
A week on from her own wedding, vice-captain Bess Keaney also returns to the team, named on the wing.
Ellie Hampson will unfortunately miss the clash against the Eagles after sustaining a quad injury at training during the week. Shannon Danckert is also unavailable after entering AFL Health & Safety protocols.
Ashanti Bush and Tahlia Meyer have been omitted from the side that went down to North Melbourne in the opening round. They have both been listed as emergencies alongside Tori Groves-Little.
