David Swallow seems to have found some fine form in the midfield in just his second match back from a knee injury, the 2010 No.1 Draft pick amassing 28 disposals, three clearances, five tackles and five inside-50s to finish as the SUNS leading possession-getter on the night. 

Harley Bennell is beginning to pick up where he left off in 2012, after the damaging forward and occasional midfielder finished runner-up to Gary Ablett in the GC SUNS Club Championship Award.

Bennell’s 27 touches, three marks and five clearances proved too much for the embattled Demons, the star Gold Coaster putting on an impressive display in front of the 13,840 screaming fans in attendance at Metricon Stadium.

Aaron Hall showed the home crowd why he hasn’t missed a game in 2013, the 22-year-old speedster taking the game on from the outset to finish with 20 disposals, four marks and set up numerous Gold Coast team mates with an equal game-high three goal assists alongside fellow small Jarrod Harbrow. 

Never one to disappoint, Campbell Brown was his usual-best against the Demons on Saturday night, the enforcer pulling together one of the most polished all-round performances for the year.
