The Gold Coast SUNS reserves will welcome back a host of listed players for Saturday afternoon’s clash with the Brisbane Lions at Coorparoo.
With the injury curse beginning to subside, Josh Fraser’s side welcomes back Rory Thompson, Greg Broughton and Keegan Brooksby from injury, as well as Clay Cameron, Jack Leslie and Peter Wright from the seniors.
The ninth-placed SUNS will be looking to add to their two wins against a Brisbane side who have won only one game all season.
A back six comprising of Broughton, Thompson, Cameron, Leslie, Josh Hall and Seb Tape looks particularly potent, and with Wright returning to spearhead the visitors in attack, the SUNS will be looking to utilise the prodigious talent.
Wright has spent the last two games playing in the senior side and is likely to draw Brisbane veteran Daniel Merrett with the key defender making a return from injury in the NEAFL.
