Speaking of important goals, Bailey Humphrey showed he’s the man for the big occasion, coolly finishing from a tight angle to earn the SUNS a small buffer to cap off a brilliant night for the 18-year-old.
Noah Anderson finished with 26 disposals to continue his impressive season while Jarrod Witts led from the front with plenty of work around the ground and a game-high 51 whiteouts.
Charlie Ballard was at his resolute best as a key defender, leading the SUNS for contested marks against a potent and tall Dogs attack.
