Matt Rowell’s electric second half has earned him a perfect 10 coaches votes from Saturday night’s win over the Bulldogs in Darwin.
The 29-disposal, 16-clearance performance has rocketed Rowell into the Top 10 in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year voting and was one of five SUNS players to earn coaches votes.
Captain Jarrod Witts earned six votes for his dominant performance in the ruck, providing plenty of service to both Rowell and Noah Anderson with the latter also picking up three votes.
Jack Lukosius had four goals on the board before half-time, finishing with five majors and three coaches votes while at the other end of the field, Charlie Ballard played a fantastic shutdown role which caught the eyes of the coaches, also earning three votes.
