SUNS captain Touk Miller is edging nearer to a return to play, with no fresh injury concerns to come out of the match against Hawthorn at Heritage Bank Stadium.
Miller has integrated back into training, and is now one week away from a return to action at AFL level.
“Touk has been training strongly for the past fortnight,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull told the Qscan Injury Update.
“He’s close to a return, and we expect Touk to be pushing for selection next week if all goes well.”
Charlie Constable has recovered well from a concussion in the VFL and will be available for selection this weekend.
In positive news, both Lloyd Johnston (face) and Lachie Weller (knee) returned from injury on the weekend and recovered with no concerns.
